9) Chao Phraya River

ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND SALAM SEJAHTERA..

I choose the place where the nearest to the Malaysia, Thailand.
When I was 6 years old, my family and I had already to go to the Thailand.
The places that I had visited are not luxurious place.
Most of them do the small business.

and here I want to share the place in the state of Thailand.

Bangkok is a huge, sprawling city on the Chao Phraya River and is home to about 6 million people.Locally known as Krung Thep, the City of Angels, it is everything and more than you would imagine a great south-east Asian city to be.

One of the best ways to escape the bustle and explore the heart of the old city on the east bank, the river and the network of canals (khlongs) is by river ferry, tour or chartered boat.

From here you can see the many beautiful temples, the Grand Palace, ramshackle old houses on stilts, 19th-century architecture, the naval dockyard and customs house and the famous floating markets.

Ko Kret, a small island in the Chao Phraya River is worth a visit. It houses the Wat Paramai Yikawat and Wat Phal Lom, as well as a village where visitors can watch potters at work and see the Ancient Mon Pottery Centre.

The journey along the river is also the best way to travel from the city centre to the former capital, Ayutthaya.

There are numerous boat tours during the day as well as dinner cruises in the evenings, which give visitors an opportunity to dine in luxury while watching the lit-up old
buildings and beautiful skyline of the city glide past.

The Royal Barge National Museum houses the kings ceremonial barges, which were used on such state occasions as the procession at the end of the annual rainy season.

Among the temples are the ancient Wat Kaeo Fa, Wat Amphawan and Wat Suwannaram.

At Wat Sai floating market tourists can buy souvenirs, while at Taling Chan a food market is held at weekends.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO
Take a river ferry to experience a more peaceful side to Bangkok.

WHAT IS THERE TO SEE
